Description
BINCCHECK reports whether or not anyone in the household received income in the form of a check or money order in a typical month during the past 12 months.
BINCCHECK is part of a series of variables about ways income was received during the past 12 months. Related variables include BINCACCT, BINCCASH, BINCCARD, and BINCOTH. Though respondents who answered that the household had no income during past 12 months were asked no further questions about income types, these households are coded as "Did not receive income" in all variables in this series.
This variable is part of the Unbanked/Underbanked Supplement.
