Description

For respondents who currently smoke (TFREQ) and have attempted to quit in the past 12 months (TRYQUIT), TQUITNICATT indicates whether the respondent used a nicotine replacement product, such as a patch, gum, lozenge, nasal spray, or inhaler, as part of an attempt to quit smoking during the past 12 months.

This variable is part of the Tobacco Use Supplement.
