Description
VNOEMWANT indicates whether respondents did not contact state employment service specialists for help finding a job because they did not want help or found their own job.
VNOEMWANT is part of a series of variables identifying reasons why veterans did not contact state employment services. These variables were asked as one "mark all that apply" question.
In samples from 2001 to 2020, this series includes VNOEMVA VNOEMDIS, VNOEMDK, VNOEMFAITH, VNOEMFAM, VNOEMFIND, VNOEMINFO, VNOEMJOB, VNOEMLOOK, VNOEMOLD, VNOEMOTH, VNOEMPRIDE, and VNOEMWEB
In samples from 2021 onwards, this series includes VNOEMVA VNOEMDIS, VNOEMDK, VNOEMFAITH, VNOEMJOB, VNOEMLOOK, VNOEMNOJOB, and VNOEMWANT.
