For respondents who currently smoke (TFREQ) and have attempted to quit in the past 12 months (TRYQUIT), TQUITCOUNSELATT indicates whether the respondent used one-on-one counseling with a health professional as part of an attempt to quit smoking during the past 12 months.

This variable is part of the Tobacco Use Supplement.
