Description
BSAVEPCARD reports whether anyone in the household kept money set aside in the past 12 months on a prepaid card.
BSAVEPCARD is part of a series of variable regarding saving money. Related variables include BSAVEBOND, BSAVESACCT, BSAVECACCT, BSAVEKEEP, BSAVEPAWN, and BSAVEOTH. Respondents were asked whether anyone in the household had set aside money during the past 12 months, and asked to mark all options that applied to their household.
This variable is part of the Unbanked/Underbanked Supplement.
Universe
- Households that report having or not having bank accounts, that saved money in the past 12 months and have a respondent age 15 or older, who has knowledge of household finances.
