Description

BSAVEOTH reports whether anyone in the household kept money set aside in the past 12 months in some way other than in a checking account, a savings account, a prepaid card, certificates of deposit, brokerage accounts, savings bonds, at home, with family and friends, or in the form of an item purchased to sell or pawn later.

BSAVEOTH is part of a series of variable regarding saving money. Related variables include BSAVEBOND, BSAVESACCT, BSAVECACCT, BSAVEPCARD, BSAVEPAWN, and BSAVEKEEP.
