Description

BPPAIDEMP reports if households that used prepaid cards during the past 12 months received those cards in the form of payroll cards from an employer.

BPPAIDEMP is part of a series of variable regarding the acquisition of prepaid cards. Related variables include BPPAIDRTL, BPPAIDGOV, BPPAIDBANK, BPPAIDFAM, and BPPAIDOTH. Respondents were asked where prepaid cards used during the past 12 months had come from and asked to mark all options that applied to their household.

This variable is part of the Unbanked/Underbanked Supplement.
