Description
BBILLDC reports whether households used debit cards to pay bills in a typical month during the last 12 months.
BBILLDC is part of a series of variables about methods of bill payment during the past 12 months. Related variables include BBILLCHECK, BBILLCASH, BBILLCC, BBILLPC, BBILLELEC, BBILLMO, BBILLMOB, and BBILLOTH. Though respondents who answered that the household had not paid bills during past 12 months were asked no further questions about bill payment, these households are coded as "Did not pay bills" in all variables in this series.
This variable is part of the Unbanked/Underbanked Supplement.
Universe
- Households which currently have, or within the last 12 months had, a bank account, with a respondent aged 15 or older who has knowledge of household finances.
