For respondents who completely quit one or more non-cigarette tobacco products within the past 12 months, TTOBTYPAMTIMEBFQ identifies the non-cigarette tobacco product or products referenced in TTOBAMTIMEBFQ.

This variable is part of the Tobacco Use Supplement.

Comparability

In the 2010 and 2011 samples, this variable identified the single qualifying non-cigarette tobacco product that had been completely quit within the past 12 months. Beginning in 2014, this variable could refer to one or more qualifying tobacco or nicotine products.
