Description
For respondents who are current someday smokers or are former smokers (TFREQ), TSMKDAYS1 reports how many days per month the respondent smoked cigarettes one year ago.
This variable is part of the Tobacco Use Supplement. This IPUMS variable was constructed using multiple original survey variables and as a result, combinations of response options that only included "refused", "don't know" or "no response" were coded as 95 (Non response).
