Description
For all respondents who were interviewed for the Tobacco Use supplement (TBRESP), THEATOB reports the frequency of a respondent's heated tobacco products and whether they have ever used heated tobacco products regularly.
Heated tobacco products are described as products which heat, but not burn, tobacco sticks or capsules to produce a vapor. Heated tobacco products are different from e-cigarettes, which heat a liquid to produce a vapor. Some brands of heated tobacco products include iQOS, glo, and Eclipse.
This variable is part of the Tobacco Use Supplement.
