Description
BINCWHERE reports whether households that reported typically receiving income by check or money order during the last 12 months (BINCCHECK) typically cashed those checks or money orders somewhere other than a bank (banks defined as banks, savings and loans institutions, credit unions, or brokerage firms).
This variable is part of the Unbanked/Underbanked Supplement.
Universe
- Households that report having or not having bank accounts, which received income as check or money order, that reported cashing a check outside a bank in the last 12 months, with a respondent aged 15 or older who has knowledge of household finances.
