Description
CEVETORULE records the respondent's answer to a multiple-choice question about the majority required for the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives to override a presidential veto. The respondent was given the choices of 80 percent, 67 percent, 60 percent, and 51 percent.
This question was asked only to self-respondents, not proxy respondents.
This variable is part of the Civic Engagement Supplement.
