Description
VLHMAINORG indicates how many hours the respondent spent volunteering for the organization for which they volunteered the most hours in the past year, which is considered to be the main organization. This variable was constructed by the Census Bureau by reporting the highest number of hours volunteered at a single organization in the past year.
This variable is part of the Volunteer Supplement.
