This variable is part of the Tobacco Use Supplement.

- 2010+: Persons interviewed for the Tobacco Use Supplement (TBRESP) who are everyday or non-daily smokers.
- May 2011: Persons interviewed for the Tobacco Use Supplement (TBRESP) who are everyday or non-daily smokers; MIS 5-8 only.
