Description

For respondents who have quit smoking completely within the last 3 years (TSINCEQUIT), TQUITNIC reports if the respondent tried to quit by switching to a nicotine product such as patch, gum, lozenge, nasal spray or inhaler. Respondents were instructed to respond whether or not they thought the method was effective.
This variable is part of the Tobacco Use Supplement.
