This is a 3-digit numeric variable.
PSALSAN is a three digit variable that reports the number of live Latin, Spanish, or Salsa music performances that the respondent attended during the last 12 months. This variable is only available for respondents who responded "yes" to PSALSA.
This variable is part of the Public Arts Supplement.

- May 2008: Civilians age 18+ in rotation groups 4 and 8, who attended live Latin, Spanish, or Salsa music in last 12 months.
- Jul 2012 and Jul 2017: Selected civilians age 18+ in rotation groups 3, 4, 7, and 8, who attended live Latin, Spanish, or Salsa music in last 12 months.
