Description
CWSETILYR indicates whether the respondent expects to be self-employed one or more years (see CWSETIL). Note that these respondents answered "something else" in CWSEUNIT.
This variable is part of the Contingent Work Supplement.
Universe
- 1995-1999: Civilians age 16+ who were self-employed, and did not report they would be self-employed for a specific length of time or reported they would be self-employed until a specific life event.
- 2001-2005: Civilians in month-in-sample 1-3 or 5-7 age 16+ who were self-employed, and did not report they would be self-employed for a specific length of time or reported they would be self-employed until a specific life event.
- 2017: Civilians age 16+ who were self-employed, and did not report they would be self-employed for a specific length of time or reported they would be self-employed until a specific life event.
