Description
CWREASDK indicates the reason a respondent expects their employment to end, for those who did not previously identify a reason their employment would end or have a timeframe for their job ending (CWREASUNTL, CWREASWRKR, CWREASTIME, CWREASYEAR, CWTIMTIL, CWTIMTILYR, and CWREASLTYR).
This variable is part of the Contingent Work Supplement.
Universe
- 1995-1999: Civilians age 16+ who were employed, but not self-employed, and did not change employers in the past week, had a temporary job or did not report being able to keep their jobs indefinitely independent of external circumstances and job performance, AND did not report a work event that would end employment, having a seasonal job, or have a timeline of any kind for the end of their employment.
- 2001-2005: Civilians in month-in-sample 1-3 or 5-7 age 16+ who were employed, but not self-employed, and did not change employers in the past week, had a temporary job or did not report being able to keep their jobs indefinitely independent of external circumstances and job performance, AND did not report a work event that would end employment, having a seasonal job, or have a timeline of any kind for the end of their employment.
