Description
CESCHLCONF indicates the level of the respondent's confidence in public schools to do what is right. Respondents could answer A Great Deal of Confidence, Some Confidence, Hardly Any Confidence or No Confidence at All. Respondents were asked the same question in respect to corporations and the media immediately preceding this question.
This question was asked only to self-respondents, not proxy respondents.
This variable is part of the Civic Engagement Supplement.

- Nov 2013: Persons age 18+ in rotations 3, 4, 7, and 8
