BREMITBANK12M reports if anyone in the household has sent money outside the U.S. using a bank (banks defined as banks, savings and loans institutions, credit
unions, or brokerage firms) during the past 12 months.
This variable is part of the Unbanked/Underbanked Supplement.
Universe
- Households that report having or not having bank accounts, that have send money outside the US in the last 12 months, and have a respondent age 15 or older, who has knowledge of household finances.
