BMORDEREV reports whether anyone in the household has ever gone to a place other than a bank to purchase a money order. Banks are defined as "banks, savings and loans, credit unions, and brokerage firms."
This variable is part of the Unbanked/Underbanked Supplement.
Universe
- Households that report having or not having bank accounts, and have a respondent age 15 or older, who has knowledge of household finances.
