Description

For respondents who usually buy their own cigarettes (TBUYOWN) and bought their last pack or carton of cigarettes in a state other than their state of residence (TSMKPLOC), TSMKPLOCSTA reports the U.S. State location (FIPS code) where the respondent purchased their last pack or carton of cigarettes.

This variable is part of the Tobacco Use Supplement.
