Description
For respondents who currently smoke every day (TFREQ) or ever smoked everyday for at least 6 months (TSMK6), TYRSMKCAT reports the portion of total years in which they smoked where the respondent smoked every day.
Prior to 2010, the variable TYRSMK reported the number of years the respondent spent smoking every day.
This variable is part of the Tobacco Use Supplement.
