BMORDER30D reports if anyone in the household has gone to a place other than a bank (banks defined as banks, savings and loans institutions, credit
unions, or brokerage firms) to purchase a money order in the past 30 days.
This variable is part of the Unbanked/Underbanked Supplement.
Universe
- Households that report having or not having bank accounts, and reported purchsing a money order in the last 12 months, with a respondent aged 15 or older who has knowledge of household finances.
