Description

For employed persons age 15 and older who use a computer at work, CIWSPDB indicates whether the person mentioned spreadsheets and/or databases as one of the uses of their computer at work.

This variable is part of the Computer Internet Supplement.

Comparability

CIWSPDB is comparable for all available years.

In years prior to 1994, the work computer uses of spreadsheets and databases are split into CIWSPREAD and CIWDBASE, respectively.
