Description
For smokers who were advised to quit smoking by a medical professional in the past twelve months, TMEDRX indicates whether or not a medical professional prescribed the respondent smoking cessation products, uch as nicotine products or prescription pills to help quit smoking.
This variable is a part of the Tobacco Use Supplement.
Universe
- Self-respondent smokers age 15 or older who had seen a medical professional and was advised to quit.
