TMED identifies the kind of medical professional the smoker consulted most about trying to quit smoking cigarettes.
This variable is a part of the Tobacco Use Supplement.
Universe
- Self-respondent smokers age 15 or older who had seen a medical professional in past 12 months and was advised to quit but did not recieve any presciption, materials, or further instructions on how to quit smoking.
