STAMPVAL gives the total value of Food Stamps received by the household during the previous calendar year. For discussion of the Food Stamp program and related variables, see (FOODSTMP).
Inflation-adjusted versions of this variable created with the Adjust Monetary Values tool will use the default reference year for the sample (i.e., survey year [YEAR] for basic monthly and previous year [YEAR-1] for ASEC).
