Description

VTAPEARLY indicates whether respondents felt the TAP (Transition Assistance Program) workshop would be more useful if offered six months or more prior to discharge.

VTAPEARLY is part of a series of variables identifying ways in which veterans felt TAP workshops could be improved. Comparability

In 2003 and earlier samples, Veterans Supplement respondents were 18 and older; in 2005 and later, respondents to the supplement were 17 and older.
