Description
For veterans who are not currently employed and whose service-connected disability has prevented them from meeting long-term career goals, VMILDISJOBYR specifies the last year the veteran worked at a job or business.
This variable is part of the Veterans Supplement.
Comparability
This variable has bottom codes in some samples but not in others. These bottom codes also differ between samples. In addition, for the 2021 Veterans Supplement, the value 2018 means "2018 or 2019". Aside from these minor differences in codes, this variable is comparable across all available years.
Universe
