Description
TSINCEDAILY reports the approximate number of days since the respondent had smoked every day. In the original survey, the respondent reports a unit of time (days, weeks, months) and a number. To construct TSINCEDAILY, the reported value was converted to days by multiplying weeks by 7, months by 30, and years by 365.
This variable is part of the Tobacco Use Supplement.
