For respondents who ever tried a regular pipe filled with tobacco (TPIPE), TPIPEYRS reports the number of years the respondent has smoked a regular pipe. Respondents who have used a regular pipe for less than one year were coded as 0.
This variable is part of the Tobacco Use Supplement.
