Description
TCIGTYPE reports the usual type of cigarette smoked by an everyday or non-daily smoker, or a former smoker who quit in the past 5 years. TCIGTYPE distinguishes the type of cigarette by the fullness or strength of flavor (regular, lite, or ultra-light), while TUBRAND categorizes the smoker's usual choice of cigarette as menthol or non-menthol.
This variable is a part of the Tobacco Use Supplement.
