Beginning in 2022, PJAZZN is topcoded at 8, which represents 16 or more jazz performances. In addition, codes of 6 and higher represent a range of values rather than representing a single value. The codes are as follows:

6 – Six to Ten
7 – Eleven to Fifteen
8 – Sixteen or more

PJAZZN is a three digit variable that reports the number of live jazz performances that the respondent attended during the last 12 months. This variable is only available for respondents who responded "yes" to PJAZZ.
