Description
MHMARLM indicates the month of the respondent's last marriage.
This variable is part of the CPS Fertility Supplement.
Comparability
MHMARLM is limited to ever-married women in all available samples, except for 1980 where ever-married men are included.
In 1980 and 1990, the MHMARLM variable includes women who have been married only once. These women also have values for "month of first marriage" (MHMAR1M); for these cases, values for MHMAR1M and MHMARLM are the same. In 1995, women who have been married only once are in-universe only for MHMARLM.

- Jun 1980: Persons 15-75 who have ever been married.
- Jun 1990 and Jun 1995: Persons 15-65 who have ever been married.
