MHMARLENDY indicates the year in which the respondent's last marriage ended.
This variable is part of the CPS Fertility Supplement.
Comparability
MHMARLENDY is limited to ever-married women in all available samples, except for 1980 where ever-married men are included.
In 1980 and 1990, the MHMARLENDY variable includes women who have been married only once. These women also have values for "year of termination of last marriage" (MHMAR1ENDY); for these cases, values for MHMAR1ENDY and MHMARLENDY are the same. In 1995, women who have been married only once are in-universe only for MHMARLENDY.

- Jun 1980: Persons 15-75 who have ever been married.
- Jun 1990 and Jun 1995: Females 15-65 who have ever been married.
