Description
KATEVAC indicates whether anyone living in a household had to evacuate due to Hurricane Katrina. Everyone in a given household has the same code. If at least one person in the household is an evacuee, then all household members have the code for "yes." Two additional variables related to Katrina are available: KATEVAC2 and KATPRIOR.
