Description
FSSPDOTHLW indicates the amount of money spent by the household at places other than super-markets and grocery stores (such as meat markets, produce stands, etc.) in the last week (i.e., locations listed under FSSHOPOTHLW). Amounts are rounded to the nearest 10 dollars with the exception of values between 1 and 7 dollars which are recoded as the midpoint of 4 dollars.
This variable is part of the Food Security Supplement.
