Description
FSSHOPOTHLW indicates whether anyone in the household bought food at any other kind of place (i.e., places not listed in FSSHOPRESTLW, FSSHOPSTRLW and FSSHOPMKTLW) during the last week.
This variable is part of the Food Security Supplement.
Comparability
This variable is comparable across years. There are slight differences in universes. Before 2010, this question was asked to all households interviewed for the Food Security Supplement. Starting in 2010 the universe includes only households from non-group quarters interviewed for the Food Security Supplement.
