Description
EDREPEAT indicates whether or not focal person has ever repeated a grade. The set of grade specific follow-up questions (EDRPTK, EDRPT1, EDRPT2, EDRPT3, EDRPT4, EDRPT5, EDRPT6, EDRPT7, EDRPT8, EDRPT9, EDRPT10, EDRPT11, EDRPT12) is only asked about those who are reported to have repeated a grade.

Universe
- Oct 1992: Children age 3-14 enrolled in grades K-12, all people age 15-24, and people 25+ currently enrolled in grades 1-12
- Oct 1995: All children age 3-14, and people age 15-24 currently enrolled in grades 1-12
- Oct 1999: All children age 6-14, and people age 15-24 currently enrolled in grades 1-12
- Oct 2004: Children age 6-14 who were not enrolled in school the previous October, and people age 15-24 currently enrolled in school
