DWUNION reports whether or not the respondent was a member of a union while employed at the reference lost or left job.
This variable is part of the Displaced Workers Supplement.
Universe
- Civilians age 20 or older who lost or left a job in the past three years because the company closed down, eliminated the shift or position, or had insufficient work and were not self-employed.
