Description
DWMOVE reports whether the respondent moved after he/she lost or left the reference job, and whether or not the move was a result of losing the result and looking for new employment.
This variable is part of the Displaced Workers Supplement.
Universe
- 1984-1992: Civilians age 20 or older who lost or left their job in the last five years, were not self-employed, and provided a response for tenure in the lost/left job.
- 1994+: Civilians age 20 or older who lost or left their job in the last three years, were not self-employed, and provided a response for tenure in the lost/left job.
