For respondents that are not employed and report difficulties hearing, seeing, remembering things, moving around, accomplishing personal care tasks, or running errands, DIEMPBAR1 indicates whether the respondent considers a lack of education or training to be a barrier to employment.
This variable is part of the Disability Supplement.
