Description

CWTYTEMP indicates whether the individual was paid by a temporary agency, whether or not their job is temporary (see CWPDTAG). Note that temporary help agency workers include both the permanent staff of the agencies and those who are placed with other companies in temporary assignments.

This variable is one of four that defines alternative employment arrangements. Alternative employment arrangements are determined by the workers' relationship to their employer. The four alternative work arrangements available in this supplement include CWTYTEMP, CWTYINCTR, CWTYCOCTR, and CWTYCALLDAY.

This variable is part of the Contingent Work Supplement.

Comparability
