Description
CSFREQ1 gives the frequency of payments dictated by the legal or informal child support agreement. This variable includes cases where there was no change in agreed payment, and cases where the payment changed, identified in CSCHG. For cases where the agreement changed, CSFREQ1 gives the frequency of payments prior to the change. Frequency of payment after the change is found in CSFREQ2. This variable is found on the parent record.
Blank values for this variable represent individuals who were not interviewed in April of the sample year.
This variable is part of the Child Support Supplement.
