Description
CWHIOTH indicates whether the respondent who has health insurance from their employer (CWHICOV) could have been covered by insurance held by someone else.
This variable is part of the Contingent Work Supplement.
Universe
- 1997-1999: Civilians age 16+ who were employed, but not self employed, and reported having health insurance through their employer.
- 2001-2005: Civilians in month-in-sample 1-3 or 5-7 age 16+ who were employed, but not self employed, and reported having health insurance through their employer.
- 2017: Civilians age 16+ who were employed, but not self employed, and reported having health insurance through their employer.
