Codes and Frequencies
Description
CINTSCH indicates whether or not a person accesses the internet at school. CINTSCHH indicates whether anyone in the household has accessed the internet at school.
This variable is part of the Computer Internet Supplement.
Universe
- Oct 1997 and Dec 1998: Civilians, age 3 or older, who use a computer at school.
- Aug 2000: Civilians, age 3 or older, who use the internet outside of their home.
- Sep 2001: Civilians between the ages of 3 and 60 who use the internet at school.
- Oct 2003: Civilians, age 3 or older, who are enrolled in schooling and use the internet.
- Jul 2011: Civilians, age 3 or older, who used the internet in the last year.
- Jul 2013: Randomly selected civilian, age 3 or older, who uses the internet and is in MISH 2-4 or 6-8.
- Jul 2015, Nov 2017, Nov 2019, Nov 2021, and Nov 2023: Civilians age 3 or older.
