Supplemental Form CPS-665 record - 1989-2006

Unicon Corporation made the following notes about this variable:
Note: 1988b-2006 note - The coding descriptions listed above are exactly as defined in the Census documents. At Unicon we have attempted to get a clearer picture of the meanings. Below is our current understanding of the codes. Value 0 - appears only in 88B-93, children ages <15 and some adults. Under CAPI/CATI (94+), all records are accounted for. No supplement record was found (perhaps supplement was lost or field rep put wrong ID on questionnaire). Any values they have in the supplement are imputed. Value 1 - a good match, people who actually answered the supplement questions Value 2 - the HH did not have a supplement record but did have a basic record (possibly the subjects refused to answer more questions after finishing the basic). All supplement values are imputed. Value 3 - some information was collected on the supplement, but not enough to make a good match to the basic records. All supplement values are imputed. The values for 88B-90 were added from Census created files. The files were matched using Census specifications and the new values were added to the end of the person records.
