In 1998, there are only about half as many valid values for this variable as there are in adjoining years. T.Marshall from the Census suggests that users substitute hruslt (PEHRUSLT) for this variable in 1998. See Appendix W for a detailed note regarding this issue. The years denoted above as 'added' indicate corrected values were extracted from the corresponding BLS file and merged into the March file. For more details please see Appendix R.

- All adults (census documentation states that universe for 1994+ is ernel=1 but tabs indicate that the 'all' universe began in 94).
